Potluck for the Bairds

The Bairds last Sunday with us will be this coming Sunday (May 6). We will have a potluck dinner for them following church on that day (around 12:30).

Please bring a dish to share. Meat and drinks will be provided.

WHO:
All families of 8th grade, 12th grade, and college graduates.
WHEN:
Saturday, May 12th, 6-8pm.
We’re recognizing all of our graduates with a cookout!
Please grab a signup form from the Information Corner.

Each year we recognize our junior high, high school, and college graduates with a cookout.
Families need to sign up by filling out a short form in the back of the Well and turn it in to Kyle.

Forgotten God

We believe in the Trinity, but yet do you ever feel that we forget all about the Holy Spirit? Does it seem like the Holy Spirit is a bit of an afterthought in your life? Have you been reluctant to learn more about the Holy Spirit because you have friends who have had really bazaar and uncomfortable experiences? If so, this sermon series is perfect for you! Throughout this series, we will explore what it means to recognize the full presence of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.

- Gift and Giver by Craig S. Keener. Baker Academic, 2001. (A deeper read that is still very practical)

Jr. High Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser and ACT Choir Program

They will begin serving dinner at 4:45pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Come eat spaghetti and then walk to the Worship Center to see the
ACT Choir program at 6:00pm in the Worship Center!!
For a small (or large) donation, you can get dinner and a show!

PaperTrails Scrapbooking

Friday, April 20th from 6pm—midnight

JeffStreet Fellowship Center

Join us for a night of fun and fellowship as we make scrapbook pages for the Woven Together Ministry.  Bring your creativity and a snack to share.  So far we’ve been able to provide over a dozen scrapbooks to DCFS for foster children.

Donation: $3 if you work on Woven Together pages, or $6 if you work on your own projects.  All proceeds go to the Woven Together Ministry Fund.
