Why we give
In the Old Testament, The Bible teaches about the tithe; in the New Testament, however, Jesus teaches about giving of your first fruits. There is no set amount or size of gift that God requires, but the hard reality is that everything we have is God's already. When we give the first fruit to the church, we put God first in our lives. Generosity is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others.
God has and continues to provide for the ministry of JeffStreet through your generosity. We try our best to honor those gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of JeffStreet remains above reproach.
How to give
When you give, you will now see a few options. First, you may give with a credit or debit card and cover a small percentage fee when you give. Our recommendation is to use the bank account feature (you can simply enter your mobile banking info) and pay a small $0.25 fee. Be sure to read more about the convenience fee if you choose to give with your card. We've done the math and giving via bank account will save thousands of dollars in fees this year alone.
*Currently the ability to split your gift between funds isn't available but we hope to see these upgrades in the future with RebelGive.
It's now easier than ever to give. Just click the giving icon at the bottom right corner of your screen on any page of Jeffstreet.org and follow the prompts. Create an account to save your giving information and download giving reports.
